How can I be popular on WP?

give back some of the things you are learning about NTs

I sort of thought you already were popular. I like you. I have no idea if other people do or not, but I do.

You should post more frequently, like Raph522 does

Why ANYBODY would want to be popular is beyond my comprehension..

We pay attention to each other. That beats out popularity every time.

Places that respect human beings for their differences are few and far between. I've known a couple of "real" places. This is certainly a good virtual version.

We pay attention to what you write. It's how we support each other.

I don't know how to get (or why you would want to be) popular on WP.

I know you can make it easier to get people to talk to here by sticking with certain threads and replying to people with similar interests. (someone comments about Zelda or Pokemon, I reply)

I thought you were one of the more noticeable members, your name [roygerdodger] has always stuck out among others.

With over 12000 posts, you'd think that Raph522 must be pretty popular.

Post often, be insightful, and be the type of person that others on WP would want to correspond with. And a good sense of humor is a plus.

Just do the exact opposite of what I do and you should be in good shape.

First decide why you want to be popular. Why....?

Popular= well known, right? Not good or bad....

Fastest, easiest way (don't do this, this is meant as a joke.): Insult and annoy as much as possible in useless posts. Same applies to the avatar. Get banned. Keep logging on with new names. Repeat.

Most time consuming: Post so much that people almost always see your posts no matter where they look.

Or: post useful information that is mostly relevant to the topic.

Or: post in a different format that will cause people to notice that something is different from the other posts...different writing method, font color, etc.

Or: have a name or avatar that people notice, and don't chance it very often.

Or......give advice in this thread, and then start taking your own advice....
