Who here really likes listening to Daft Punk? It is my favorite band, and I still love listening to their songs!

With all curiousity and thanks,

I had heard the name "Daft Punk" before that recent hit album "Random Access Memories" came out. Liked the album, both as a party deejay, and as a music lover. But I didn't know anything about their work before that album.

I first heard about Daft Punk after Get Lucky came out. Then the first song besides that one that I embraced was Around The World, from their album Homework.

I think they took advantage of the fact that the big names in Europe barely did any live shows in U.S. I gave up a while back ever hoping to see RDJ live, for instance.

To OP, you might want to check out Surgeon's live sets if you like a tasteful, interesting techno vibe.

Daft Punk, despite the name, is actually techno, not punk rock.

The genre of music they actually make is French house. However, they actually used to be with a techno record label, Soma Records. But later they switched over to Virgin.

Daft Punk is Awesome! :D I especially like the songs that were played in
Interstella 5555 – The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, a movie that I also highly recommend.
