I have about 430 dvds (I count a boxset as a single DVD otherwise it would be huge)... Can anyone beat me?

DVD's are a bit of an obsession of mine :) I buy a season of something and watch it back to back. I don't really like television much though - too unpredictable and too much rubbish.

I have a modest, but growing DVD collection. All DVDs I buy myself I really enjoy and cheerish... my favorite movies... or movies about my favorite things.

Most of my collection is TV shows. I own all 3 currently available volumes of Seinfeld dvds. The first 2 seasons of Simpsons (I have been meaning to collect this more... up to at least season 9 or so when I felt the show started to have a lower quality to it) Space Ghost Coast to Coast Volumes 1 and 2 (going to get 3 soon I think). Plus my favorite one, an obscure yet very funny show, Home Movies season 1.

The few actual movies I own are my favorite movies... What About Bob, Lord of the Rings trilogy, This is Spinal Tap and UHF.

I also own a documentary on TMBG, titled Gigantic:A tale of Two Johns... and a Weird Al Concert DVD.

I like the DVD medium, the cheapness in manufacturing costs lets me collect more Niche movies and shows that in other formats wouldn't have even bothered to produce.

I don't have a lot of DVDs. I don't buy them much. I usually buy movies when its a hilarious comedy, which can last me a long time, due to extreme and excessive laughs. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAA!! !

I'm so evil...

Having more than a hundred is overdoing it... how many times are you gonna rewatch this movie/show? I mean DVDs have only been around for about 7 years now right?

I have no idea how many DVDs and VHSs my boyfriend has, except to say he cannot store all of them in his room, or even in his room and a study (though it's not wall-to-wall, of course). he suspects he may have AS. ((I hesitate to confirm or deny this, but I can definitely see some traits.))
