Do you vacuum or sweep? If you vacuum, what kind of vacuum cleaner do you have?

We have carpet & pets so we kind of have to use a vacuum. We have to sweep 1st thou because there's hay for our guinea pig & rabbit that's kind of too big for the vacuum. We have a hoover canister vacuum.

I prefer to sweep for it is quieter, my husband prefers to vacuum because it's more efficient.
We use a Philips fc9176 machine.

I use a vacuum cleaner because I have allergies. Sweeping sends dust flying in the air.
My vacuum cleaner: Electrolux ultra silencer. I bought it more than a decade ago.

I didn't have a vacuum for years and years.I just hate the sound they make.I have wood floors so used a wool dust mop.Now I have three dogs and the corgi sheds like crazy. So I had to invest in one.I still hate the sound, but it's amazing to see the Hoover suck up the dog hair and the floor is so much cleaner.I made sure to get one with a good filter. Its not quite as loud as older vacuums, lighter and easier to use.The crevasse tool is great for getting dog hair trapped around the baseboards, the dust mop wasn't too good at that.

I don't have any pests and I have a small apartment so I just bought a cheap vacuum cleaner from the supermarket. The kind that has a long hose and you drag It round as you go. It does the job.

I’m planing on moving someday, I want carpets again, carpets will help me walk better & it was easier to vacuum. I have a vacuum cleaner, but it not working good. Bissell vacuum cleaner has 2 in 1 cleaner, it vacuum & mop at the same time, it cost $249, but it look like it does a great job.

I don't have carpet, so I don't vacuum. I do have a robotic vacuum that does a "light" cleaning daily. But I do a good sweeping and mop once a week.

both

you can't really sweep a carpet, and vacuums don't do much on hard tile.

i've only mopped at work.
