We had something very similar to that, but it wasn't a wall paper though. It was some object or other, maybe a thermos? Whatever it was, I remember that pattern. I love a good nostalgic blast from the past, especially welcome after some sad days.

By the way, good to see you back, Lego Master!

...I just lost my second draft of this ...Well, anyway :( ...Does anyone else here remember a thing that rock/ pop music critics of the middle Seventies of the, say, Rolling Stone/Village Voice/Creem type would go on about. Those folks were always going on about " Who will the Big Thing of the Seventies be? The new Beatles/Elvis, leading forth/speaking to this generation as those dudes did." :| . " The next Bob Dyln ", too, and just general saying someone was " a ______ for the Seventies " or so.

Ugh-shag carpeting! That got really disgusting when the dog (or cat) peed, pooped or barfed on it.

Also the great gas shortage, drugs and promiscuous sex everywhere, murderous cults like Helter Skelter and Jonestown, "Satan Movies" like Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist, and The Omen, and people treating the American soldiers who went to Vietnam like garbage.

Yup that about sums it all up for me.

Being this mystery child. My parents didn't know how I was going to turn out. I guess that goes for all children.
