Even with being diagnosed with OCD, Bi-polar and Asperger's I am a super happy guy. People ask me how I can be so happy all the time. It's a choice. I have but one lifetime and I am not wasting it on being grumpy and feeling sorry for myself. Even my downs are ups because I'm engaged in a war that I know I will win. How many people get to experience what we do? No matter how I feel, I awake each day anticipating what kind of adventure I will have! No time for self pity and wallowing in despair. Yes, I may be overstating my case somewhat but ask anyone who knows me and they are amazed at how happy and zany I can be. Don't let your diagnosis become your life!

Hello

Well that was cheerful. I do try to be positive but I have found that easier as I've aged. When you're young I think there is so much emphasis on achieving things, that it's very hard not to feel like a failure. Now I don't give a s**t, so much easier. :D
