Charlie likes to jump up in the windows to scope out the back yard. Almost every time he does so, he lets out a squeaky fart!

My dog used eat the fish food out of the pond and she will pick up grasshoppers and carry them around in her mouth.

My last dog, Partner, a pitbull/Lab mix, passed away on October 6, 2009. He was about thirteen years old.

My first dachshund, Heidi, was afraid of the vacuum cleaner.

My mixed breed, probably part poodle, Friska, was very smart. She could get scared at weird noises. (My cat, Peter, was like this, too).

My second dachshund, Rosie, came to us thin and the victim of terrible abuse. She lived to be about eighteen, but she never got over it in all the time she lived with us.

My beagle, aptly named Begi, grew deaf in her old age. She was also very accident prone during her life, and was at the vet for all sorts of crazy reasons. She came to us when she was ten and lived to be 17.

My dog was smarter than most of the people with which I work.

The Lab is the sweetest dog ever, tell it gets dark. Then she goes on a rampage in the woods.
The Corgi is the meanest, beats down the Lab and the Catahoula.
The Catahoula is the most serious, thinks she has to watch out for me.She also loves to roll in horse poop.Got sprayed by a skunk and rolled in the horse poop the same day.She thought she was especially fragrant.
All are fun to go on a midnight walk thru the woods with.

My dog's name is Atari. And I named him after the old Atari game systems. And he does some weird things for a dog. Or I at least thinks is weird. Like he doesn't eat any of his food or extra food I give him if it's on the floor. He just won't eat it. And he doesn't eat his food super fast. He goes slow with it and takes his time.

Today was our dog Partner's adoption anniversary. We got him on March 6, 1998 and he lived with us 11 1/2 years.

My nannan's rottie cocks her leg up to pee like a boy dog. Glad to see gender identity issues run in the family

My dog (standard poodle) snores. It's soft enough that I always think it's adorable, not bothersome in any way.

My dog will also lower his tail as he drinks - he'll start with his tail up, and it will slowly drop until it touches his legs, like it's his water meter or something

My dog also has partial heterochromia - his eyes are yellow, with a ring of blue around the pupils.
