We all likely have personality type "I" (Introversion)

Just search google "Advantages of being an introvert"

No, not all.

And I don't know my IQ, but I'm sure it is above average (though the average includes intellectually disabled people, who aren't NT). In school, I was ahead of my classmates in many ways. There are some things that I struggle with, however, and some ways that I feel stupid.

When I was a kid "introvert" would have been the last word people would have used to describe me. It wasn't until not long after I started junior high that I was described as being "withdrawn" and "appears confused and disoriented, and has poor peer relations".

The school counselor once said that when I was 13 I had the mind and IQ of someone who was 18, while some of my teachers said I was incredibly selfish and immature. One time my french teacher was playing a tape of french lessons and the voice sounded sounded so raspy it was like listening to a jackhammer. I kept saying how bad it was during the class and then she told me after the class was over and everyone had left how I kept "screaming" about the tape and basically what a horrible student I was. This was the same teacher who complimented not long before how good I was at speaking French. I had the mother of all meltdowns and spent the rest of the school day crying hysterically.

Same. *Virtually high fives*.

I suppose this topic becomes hard to accurately determine due to the Donning Kruger effect, idiots think they are amazing and never seek to better themselves, whilst many smart individuals underestimate their own ability, due to holding themselves to a higher standard.

Am I smarter than the average NT individual?

I'm inclined to say no, because there are many things that my brain is simply terrible at, things that some individuals can do with ease. But, I do have my strengths as well as my weaknesses, which is such a generic thing to say, because near everyone does. However, it's true though.

It depends what the average is, and what area of intelligence in particular you are comparing.

I've always disliked most online IQ tests because they are often math heavy, and have plenty of overly complex word puzzles. Neither of which are strong suits of mine. If you judge intelligence simply off this, then of course I am a mere idiot.

But if it was a test on say, psychology or memory (particularly auditory memory) or creative thinking, pointing out patterns in shapes, and finding solutions among other things.. then I would most likely do well.

Then again, humans aren't always the best at accurately judging themselves at times. So who knows?

Yes, to the extent intelligence can be quantified.
But, by that standard I am smarter then the average of most groups.

That doesn't however, imply more functional in any practical sense.

Like others I'm gifted in some areas and very weak in others. Unfortunately my focus, persistence and gifts made me really good at building things other people find impossible while my deficits made me a weird outcast. So the socialites climb the ladder and make the money while I actually build everything.

If we're measuring intelligence by how its often measured, I've always been praised for how smart I am and I'm consistently the best in every class that I take without even making any effort.

But as far as actually living life is concerned, I feel completely incompetent and I'm well behind most people. Being so academically smart hasn't really done me much good.

It should be mentioned that the "average NT" really is fairly stupid.

That in itself is a fairly stupid remark.

Depends on what you measure. People say that I'm more intelligent than normal though. Whatever that means.
