A member "NamelessNinja42" posted a thread titled "How Can I Tell My Girlfriend She Is Fat?". NamelessNinja42 post here: viewtopic.php?t=356373

This gave me a funny idea. I was going to post in the thread he made but then thought a funny idea would get hidden so I am making a new thread.

I thought it would be really funny if people made a video of them trying to tell their wife or girlfriend that they are fat using the nicest or best way possible. We can all get a laugh at each others failures. The wife or girlfriend should not be aware of the video until after and then you may explain what you are trying to do so your wife or girlfriend can calm down and hopefully laugh about it.

Post the video in this topic. Who knows, maybe we will learn something.

That doesn't sound like a good idea, I don't think most people like videos being put up of them so that people can ridicule them over their weight over the internet.

If you think that someone will need to "calm down" about something afterwards, it's generally not a good idea to do it in the first place!

I acquired a box of post cards once, themed "breaking bad news with furry animals".
They were really, really funny. And I don't think it would be a good idea to use any of them for their stated purpose.

How is this funny? Why would I enjoy watching people be miserable? If someone took a secret video of me and put it on the internet, I’d be furious.

Those videos are very pointless. They're the perfect example of the sexism and weight shaming that won't die out. If someone doesn't meet your standards, than you should look for someone else who meets your standards of perfection.

My girlfriend's overweight & is insecure about it. She would be extremely p!ssed with me if I were to make a vid of me trying to tell her she's fat.

Ehh here's an idea ... don't :p I find that people are very sensitive about weight having grown up around family members that have had weight problems. My mom is so sensitive about weight that if the scale at the doctor reads higher then her at home scale she'll be depressed for a week.

Please don't tell me you're actually considering doing that.
This is just asking for trouble.
