If the main stream media remains willfully silent on Biden's sexual assault accuser, regardless of where a person is in their political ideology, it would have to be agreed upon by all that the main stream media is part of a problem rather than a solution. It's rotten to the core.

There may be good reasons for the responsible media not to report upon this specific accusation. The accuser seems to be quite a vulnerable woman who has given contradictory accounts of her time working for Biden, including a widely publicised one. We don’t know what steps they are taken to establish the truth. The media have responsibilities both towards the public and towards the accuser.

The media are not being silent about accusations of this nature against Biden generally:

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/31/us/p ... lores.html
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... story.html
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/04/01/poli ... index.html

Flores is Biden’s Ford. The other accuser is perhaps more comparable to the man who accused Kavanaugh of raping someone else on a boat.

Former Hillary Adviser Calls Biden To Drop Out: ‘We Lose All Moral Authority’ If We Don’t Take Tara Reade Seriously

Peter Daou called Saturday for former vice president and presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden to drop out of the race.

Citing new evidence of possible sexual misconduct, Daou — who had previously advised both former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry — argued that the party could not afford for Biden to not take the accusations of former aide Tara Reade seriously.

Daou began by saying that “BIDEN SHOULD WITHDRAW,” noting that, while he respected the will of the American people, “Credible rape accusations are disqualifying or we have NO moral standards.”

Predicting “potential catastrophe in Nov.,” Daou went on to suggest that any number of candidates who had already bowed out of the race could come back to replace Biden — or that Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders could simply press play on his paused campaign.

I don't know about him dropping out, but I do think the fact that he's running for the highest office in the country, means this needs to play out. He needs to address and confront this. I assume there's no basis for a congressional hearing since an appointment isn't at play, but she should be able to state her case and he should be able to state his all fully in the public eye.

We lost all moral authority we did not take Juanita Broaddrick‘s, Leslie Milwee’s, Paula Jones’s, and Kathleen Willey‘s allegations seriously.

DNC Chair Tom Perez Said Candidates Who Committed Sexual Misconduct ‘Should Step Aside.’ Now Joe Biden Is Facing A Sexual Assault Accusation

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez said in December 2017 that any candidate or elected official “who has engaged in sexual misconduct” should “step aside.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, now stands accused of sexual assault by his former Senate staffer, Tara Reade.

One of Reade’s former neighbors, a Biden supporter, corroborated key details of Reade’s account in an interview published Monday. Reade’s mother also appeared to reference Reade’s allegations while calling into “Larry King Live” in 1993.

Perez laid down his standard while calling on Democratic Minnesota Sen. Al Franken to resign in December 2017 following repeated groping allegations against the senator.

“The Democratic Party will stand up for women and for what is right. Public service is a public trust. If you are a candidate for office or an elected official who has engaged in sexual misconduct, you should step aside – whether you sit in the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, or the Oval Office,” the DNC chair said in a statement at the time.

Biden looks like a guilty, old, confused man at 15:56.

Mika: Why not open up a search for her name in your University of Delaware records ?

Biden: "...." (long pause)

Mika (repeat) Why not open up a search for her name in your University of Delaware records ?

Biden: "...." (pause)

Biden: (confused) "Who does that search?"

Mika: (stating the obvious) "The University of Delaware".

more and more, i'm believin' that at the federal level at least, the democratic party is running on fumes, it's almost done. if they can't find/civilly coalesce behind a candidate any better than this against trumpy, they are spent, exhausted as a political force.

Do we have any data suggesting that Tara Reade's vagina is particularly inaccessible, or should we just assume that Richard Komi is about as good with his fingers as he is with the English language?

When Biden speaks I just dont see a room being enthused or galvanised. Politics is primarily about policies, but the leader should be able to inspire people too.

Has there ever been a time where the 2 potential leaders going into an election have had less of a personality?!

Americans must be thumping their head into a wall looking at this
