That these threads are starting to get old.

That's what I initially thought when I started to make more of these kinds of threads. (From the original creator of the "First thing that comes to mind" threads.)

Just now starting to get old?

I thought about making fun of them by posting threads like

* First thing that comes to mind when you stare at the sun for an hour?
* First thing that comes to mind when you chop off your fingers?
* First thing that comes to mind after you are born?

and so on, but I didn't want to add more of this sort of threads and I don't know if anyone would have seen the humor intended.

Maybe they should be in the games forum.

They are OK, but there's just so many and other new threads get pushed to the bottom.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread was the same though as the whale in The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy.

"Oh no. Not again."

That would be an appropriate place for them.

"Wow, another one?" Followed by: "please, stop".

I'd like it if they were combined into one thread and placed into the games forum. Each day someone can pick a random topic that everyone can respond to.

Maybe they should be moved there as well. There are quite a lot of these threads now since I first started it.

I don't envy the mods the task of moving all those threads.
They're not bad, but they do clog up the board a bit.

There are a number of "Count By" threads in Computers, Math, Science, and Technology that would probably be better in the Games section.

There is a "Counting to 1031 on two hands" that is actually in the correct section.

So repetitive & unoriginal

That I actually can't read the Random Discussions forum anymore, if it's all going to be this infuriating ongoing onslaught of nothing but "comes to mind."
It's annoying now. Too annoying to read the forum without covering half the screen so I can only see "First Thing" and then skimming down until I find an actual topic.
