What are Your Intentions?

I often catch myself acting a certain way because I care what people think of me instead of because I care about other people. I’m trying to be more empathetic.

I'm trying to understand it as best as someone like me can, too.
What are my intentions? Well, usually utilitarian - much of my interaction is purely transactional. We need to exchange information, in order for tasks to be done. In that sense I intend to be as efficient and clear as I can be.
In the few personal interactions I have - my intentions are often to be as minimally damaging as possible, or to be helpful or useful in some way, so others can benefit from me being there.

i intend to be someone that won't waste ones time, or make someone uncomfortable.

if i fail in either area, i feel as though i've failed as a person.
