Doesn't seem to be working very well...last I heard, Moore was leading.

The last I heard, the latest polls put it pretty much nose to nose with Jones having a very small lead.

Alabama is a state that any Republican candidate should be up by around 20 points.

One Senate seat switching parties means a lot.

If Jones wins, it won't be because of a shift toward Democrats but because of the rotten candidate on the Republican side.

I'm not holding my breath for a Jones victory, even though he took on the Klan, and must have an IQ 100 points higher than Moore, and doesn't have allegations of having an unhealthy interest in teen age girls dogging him. After all, this is Alabama were talking about.

I read this afternoon that some polls, such as Fox News, has Jones in the lead. Others have Moore in the lead.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

It is a difficult election to poll because it is a special election at a unusual time of the year with vastly more national attention then is usual for a Senate race. You have an unusual candidate, the Trump populist movement and the reckoning. You just can not predict who is going to turn out, who will not, and if they will vote differently then usuall.

It's looking real good for Jones right now.

Regardless of which wins, the Republican party loses.
