honeymiel

I think the problem is I seem completely normal and my friendships have developed from school and work where the emphasis is fitting in. There will be some socialising at work, usually dinner out and I go but that means clothing issues and spending more money on one dinner than for rest of the week. But the real prob is the fact that I don't enjoy it (usually) because I am still behaving within work bounds. I am still surrounded (suffocated) by other peoples expectations of behaviour because these are people I work with inc. manager. So when someone I work with becomes closer they already have a set idea of how I am going to behave and what I like to do. I do tell people what I like but I think they go much more on what I do so I can't blame them I just don't want to keep making the same mistake.

I don't mind going shopping ocationaly or eating out but people find my rules on clothing stupid and eating out could be nice if it was a few people who knew me well. I went out to dinner last night with my Dad, Mum, and Step-Dad, and that was nice, it was very quiet.

I just looked up comic con :) I am going to aim to meet new people where I can be myself from the start so that people don't become disappointed and frustrated with me as they get to know me. Explaining this to you has really helped me to get what I'm trying to do in my own mind :D

:D I was quite a chubby baby and toddler, my sister used to roll me over and use me as a pillow.

Update

Book Group went well, everyone was welcoming. Almost everyone has had someone close to them pass away or be very ill lately, but they appeared to be cheerful.

I am looking in to what is available in volunteering next and restarting my running.

There's already a "Pillow girlfriend" in the market.

I see huge benefits to being in a relationship where you're partner doesn't speak the same language. :D

I may have learnt where I go wrong in dating from this clip, nobody told me if my breasts were touched I was supposed to sound like a cat. Is this just a Japanese thing or should I practice purring.
