Weird things you did as a kid?

This is embarrassing & more suited for the adult forum so I'll try to keep it short. I rummaged though my parents bedroom while they weren't home looking for adult stuff like their porn. i also tried on my mom's cloths & jerked-off in them.

I made up elaborate stories about characters from whatever country I happened to be obsessed with at the time. I had characters from Japan, Spain, Ukraine and Russia.

I used to dance with my cat, Samantha.

For an entire summer, I dissected garden slugs and put them in a bucket. I'd than grab a whole bunch of beetles and put them into the same bucket and watch them have a lovely meal and shag afterwards.

My love of Siamese cats, especially Siamese mixes (Lynx points) all began with Samantha. Actually, I was a freshman in high school when Samantha entered my life, so I wasn't a kid. I had a love of Siamese cats ever since I could remember, but Samantha was the catalyst (pun intended) for a lifetime of having Siamese cats as pets.

Pushed pins under my skin, usually in my hands or fingers.
Peeled off every sticker or label I saw, including the labels on cans of food in the cupboard and the registration sticker on the car.
Mixed up the contents of the medicine cabinet and applied it to the garden as a "plant spray". Mum wondered why all her tomatoes died and blamed the neighbour for poisoning them.

Bought a pair of heavy, full-length overalls from an op shop and wore them, and only them, all over the summer holidays.

One time I took a small square mirror and held it in a way while looking down at it that made me think, "this must be how ants and other tiny animals see us". It was similar to something I had seen in a cartoon.

I was doing it too! I thought I was the only one with that idea.
Do you remember the feeling of crossing doors? I could see the 50cm high wall over/"under" the doors so I felt scared of hurting my legs, despite knowing there is nothing but a low doorstep. Crossing the door without putting legs high up was a test of courage. A fight between feelings and logic. I considered it quite an accomplishment.

My younger sister and I would put used pea gravel from the family fish tank into our mouths and spit it out after 10 seconds when I was about 6 or 7.

When I had my first major interest in the Olympic Games, I kept lists of all the winners of every track event from 1896 to the date I began keeping records. I wrote short biographies of all the winners. I did the same for figure skating.

Today, I follow the progress of my favorite tennis players, so I haven't quit chronicling athlete's performances. I need to write a tennis book.

When I had come home after having my tonsils taken out, my mom said I actually drew a picture of the hospital that I had been in on some graph paper, and it was startlingly similar for a four-year-old's drawing. I really wish she had saved it. I do remember drawing something on graph paper but it's vague, and I was always drawing pictures. The hospital I went is gone now, too. When they built a new hospital they tore down the old one years ago.

I remember everything in that hospital being green. Why did they use so much green? Why that particular shade of green? Was it the color most available at the time? Did they want your face to match if you felt nauseous? It's probably I hate wearing green so much now.

I had a short shorts, tube socks, mohawk, cape phase when I was young.

I memorized tailights. I can tell what make and model car is in front of me at night by the tailights. I don't do it anymore but I'm still good 1980-2000.

I read the Reader's Digest Family Health Guide and Medical Encyclopedia when I was in the third grade. I had an interest in medical topics from the time I could remember. My interest in autism spectrum disorders began when I was in the sixth grade. Once again, it was a Reader's Digest condensed book that began my interest in that topic, "For the Love of Ann," the story of an English girl, Ann Hodges, who was severely autistic.

I used to cry whenever anybody wanted me to play outside. I was not a fan of being outdoors at all.

Eating things not meant for my little digestive system.

Particular highlights: Birth control pills, fish food and dog biscuits.
