I’ve been a lifelong fan of Joni Mitchell and Simon and Garfunkel, and just recently discovered the peaceful debut album of Vashti Bunyan, “Just Another Diamond Day.”

I also like some livelier variations of folk, such as S. J. Tucker’s music, which crosses over into world music as well. Recommendations for lively and whimsical folk music are welcome!

Folk Rock, Soft Rock...the greatest things that happened to Rock music in 20th Century. I could not think of a more deserving musician than Bob Dylan to receive the 2016 Nobel Laureate in Literature.
