Anyone else like Gran Turismo?

My dad really likes the Gran Turismo series of racing games, and was wondering if anyone else likes it. His favorite so far is GT6 for the PS3. I'm bugging my dad to get an Xbox One for Forza 7 (or 6, whichever one is the newest one), or a PS4 for GT Sport. He says he doesn't want any more consoles (I basically already have all the old cd-based consoles with 3D Graphics, except for the 3DO.)

Gran Turismo is really my favorite racing game. I've logged many hours on GT3 and GT4 for the PS2 when I was a serious gamer. I have Gran Turismo 1-6. It's been a while since I played any of them since I am not the gamer I used to be, but I still love those games.
