Or has anyone here even heard this, seems to be a solo project of one artist so not really a band but still interesting music.

Like 20 years ago I believed I was the only person among all people I know who listened to Sopor Aeternus.

Until I casually mentioned I have a disk after I girl mentioned it. She almost fell off her chair, she mentioned it as an example of music I could not possibly know because I was super dorky and dressed super-casual. She started digging deeper and discovered we have a lot common interests in music and culture. We became friends and she influenced me to wear long hair and dress more like a metalhead/goth and basically made me dramatically more popular and social )

My taste drifted to electronic since then, but still some music I really like feels like it has something in common with Sopor Aeternus somehow.



Maybe there are some similar melodic components, piano cover feels even more in this vein:

I have heard of this project. I listened to some of her earlier music before.

I enjoyed the track you posted. Looks like I need to check out the new album.
