I sometime wonder how other Christian dealt with sex? Being Christian (in my case Christian Catholic ; - ) Is difficult but being Christian and homosexual that it;s real challenge, my psychologist very nice woman BTW, saying that it's nothing wrong in being gay, that someday people realize that homosexual is very similar to left hand writing that it's GENES not he choice, i said asked does is like Asperger, Down or ADHD Syndrome, and from what she told me, she said that it's more like Asperger or ADHD ( i have only the first one) but i shouldn't compare it to genetic disease like down syndrome .

I'm from Poland, Catholic church have something like "Don't Ask Don;t tell" policy that once America and Britain had in their Armed Force, from i knew Polish never berried someone from homosexuality, it was disqualification condition in than communist Poland armed force, but it was dropped when WHO dropped it from official sexual perversion list, so Polish Army was more Enlightened that both USA, and Brittan

My Psychologist saying that it's nothing wrong with being gay, but the Bible and official teaching of Catholic Church (and just not only Catholic) saying homosexual acts is sinful but being gay isn't

I do not know what to think, my confessor claims that homosexuality is not bad in itself, it is only homosexual acts and watching porn that is sin, and that Jehovah's Witness, elder in his church, who runs the Bible course with me, says more or less Same as my priest confessor.

I do not have even a partner with whom I could do homo or heterosexual acts, with the rest which girl or boy would be associated with a fat person with autism

It depends on what kind of God you believe in. If you take the bible literally, then you may view God as a vengeful one and he then doesnt like homosexuals. Or if you think more about that if god is almighty and all knowing, then you will likely come to the conclusion that the god of the bible is irrational and doesnt make sense and that he may be a loving god who is fine with homosexuals.

God apparently has no problem with

worms that start life as males then switch and end their lives as females (mating and producing offspring at both ages)

parthenogenetic females

same-sex mating in other animals (I've observed mallard drakes getting it on in my neighborhood pretty much every spring)

interspecies mating in other animals

spermatophores

amplexus and external fertilization of shed eggs by shed sperm

windborne pollination

insect-borne pollination

I think God is way more about freedom, variety, and creativity than most human beings want to realize.

God made you how you are, and god doesn't make mistakes.

TL;DR

The Bible says "hate the sin, not the sinner"----so, I feel that's how God looks at it. I think, maybe, it hurts God, cuz he told us not to give-in to "sins of the flesh"----but, Jesus Christ died for our sins, so that we wouldn't have to "die", but have life, everlasting----and, I feel, with my whole heart that God LOVES you!!

Of course God accepts people as they are regardless of who the individual is.

God doesn't care about a person's sexual orientation and/or gender identity because everyone is equal under the eyes of God.

The God of the bible is against gay people and so is the catholic church.

You can remain part of an evil ideology that hates you and would condemn you to hell or you can accept magic doesn't exist and enjoy your life.

The bible also says if you have faith in Jesus, the laws of the old testament dont apply as accepting salvation lets you receive unconditional love. So while the god of the old testament is against homosexuality, it is loosened in the New Testament by saying sins dont matter if you believe in Jesus.

The bible is a mess. For 2000 years though being gay has not been accepted within Christianity.
