Are people afraid if Trump fires Mueller the investigation will end?

Yes, because this is not your father's GOP (or my grandfather's). Nixon's Saturday Night Massacre really was the beginning of the end for him; he was ultimately visited and persuaded to resign, by members of his own political party. That is highly unlikely to happen here and now. Nothing Trump has done has resulted in any real action from any of his... conspecifics. Some grunting and chest thumping, but no real action.

So no one on Mueller's team could take over? The whole thing depends on this one man? Mueller is 73, what if he has a stroke?

Are people afraid if Trump fires Mueller the investigation will end?

No, it would mean he has something he actually has something he wants to hide.

So then why do people act so worried about Mueller getting fired?

Fear that the guilty are pulling one over on the rest of us.

But if he fires Mueller, doesn't that mean he'll be exposed? This is so confusing.

Every responsible Republican has told Trump that if he fires Mueller, that would be the beginning of the end of his Presidency. Trump should heed the ghosts of Richard Nixon and Archibald Cox.

Even though they have now said there is no evidence for "collusion". He should just fire useless Mueller now. Who cares if the Dems cry, they will never let this go. They will never get over rigging things to get Hillary the nomination and then losing to Trump haha.

I don't feel people "fear" that Trump would fire Robert Mueller.

But firing Mueller would send a bad message, and it would be construed by some as being "obstruction of justice," the same charge Nixon would have been impeached (indicted) for had he not resigned.

and if the GOP lapdog congress goes along with this, it will send a definite message to the amuurican voter, "you don't matter to us unless you can pay us. you just don't matter to us."

Firing Mueller would be an admission of guilt. But no one can accuse Trump of having any common sense.

Republicans in congress who think their loyalty lies with the President rather than with the American people came up with that conclusion. They never had any intention of finding the truth. INcidentally, though, Republicans like Lindsey Graham say they will protect Mueller.
It has nothing to do with Clinton losing, but with the way Trump had won.

The American people voted Trump in, that's a fact. Nothing to do with Russia. The Dems chose the worst possible candidate in history and probably the only person Trump could have beaten. Lindsay Graham is a corrupt, evil war mongering psychopath. So his motives have nothing to do with justice. He's just a deep state little bi**h.

The Electoral College voted Trump in, while the people chose Clinton.
Even if Graham is everything you say he is, that doesn't mean he isn't on the right side with Mueller. Personally, I think Graham is an ex-military closet case trying to look super-hetero macho.
There is no deep state, other than government workers trying to do their jobs, regardless of an insane idiot in the White House screwing up anything sensical with his simple minded and dangerous policies and chronic tweeting.
