yes and certifiable nut = mental illness

It doesn't absolve the crime but this seems like a one-off

Mentally ill -- Not necessarily legally insane.

Hopefully, she'll pay some sort of penalty for this. Her mental illness does not excuse what she did. She is fully culpable for her crime, in my opinion.

My point is that this case is being used to illustrate how uncaring NT parents are...I was trying to point out that this is a one off due to the lady's serious mental instability

Oh, I agree. I think this mom would have flipped out, regardless. It's probably her lawyer that's pushing the autism angle.

Was the husband more concerned about his STUPID wife than his kids? If he was then he Stupid too. Children comes first then come your wife or husband.
