I would like to wish everyone on WP a happy Easter weekend. If you don't celebrate it, I hope you have a good weekend anyways. I'll be having a nice dinner with my family. How are you all going to celebrate? If you don't do Easter, what do you do instead? Either way, it will be a great weekend.

Happy Easter to you, Cockney Rebel, and everyone else on WP. I will be spending the weekend with my immediate family as I always do. I’m seeing a movie later today but apart from that, I have nothing planned in particular.

We don't celebrate in the religious sense, but like Christmas, it's a family celebration with delicious food. Maundy Thursday we actually had leftover pork roast from Christmas that we thawed and ate, and today we'll have medister
Sunday and Monday we're having turkey leftovers from New Year's Eve.

My mom bought a couple of DVDs on sale, which we will be enjoying these evenings.

Hopefully we might even get around to play a board game one of these days too.

My in-laws are coming over to visit on Saturday, and my husband and I are planning to visit my family on Sunday.

Easter & GF are pretty big where I'm from. My family would get together for a meal on Easter Sunday & I got candy & presents as a kid. My family quit doing the meal thing thou cuz my grandparents got too old & the other relatives were celebrating it with their families instead. Those holidays aren't as big where I live now thou. My girfriend's family doesn't do anything at least nowadays anyways. My girlfriend spent the weekend with her parents sometimes but she spends one weekend a month there anyways & it's just the way things worked out. We're going to WalMart today cuz we need some stuff & it's the way her schedule worked out.
