What are the coolest mods?

Probably asking in the wrong place. We seem to have very few PC gamers here, and Paradox's games are a bit niche to begin with. Mods then make things even more niche and unknown.

Heck, even I had to look it up just to see what it was, and that's bloody rare for me with PC games (since PC games are pretty much all I play, it's rare that I dont know what something is).


You'd be better off asking on Paradox's forums, or the Steam forums for the game.

I LOVE this game. Finally got the Berlin-Moscow Axis on it, and it was a glorious victory on my part.

Kaiserreich! Kaiserreich best HOI IV mod for sure!

+1 for Kaiserreich! Road to 56 is pretty good too, if you want less of the alternative history. It's far from historical but it starts in the same place as vanilla unlike Kaiserreich which is an alternate history mod - basically what if Germany won WW1? It's pretty great though so I definitely recommend it.

Also if you want complete immersion check out Black Ice, it crashes too much for me but it has so much thought and effort put into it, and it's amazing (when it works).

Millennium Dawn is pretty good if you want a modern day mod, and Old World Blues is set in the Fallout universe which is pretty nifty.

Apres Moi Le Deluge is a pretty cool mod as well.

It is a very complicated game.
