I realized that the only way I can feel connected in a relationship is in the romance phase or physical touch (oxytocin). I can't feel connected emotionally, therefore when relationships get past this initial phase of romance and lots of touch it starts to break down for me. Anyone else feel this way? I only feel connected when we are touching or I am sharing emotions, but that quickly vanishes afterwards.

So make an effort to stay affectionate. No one says you have to stop touching in a long term relationship.
