What kills many applications are weak scores in math.

3.5 doesn't mean anything if you have a C in math.

The one nursing school by me doesn't look at any app if person has a B+ or below in any math class (you really need all As). They did a huge study, that nursing students who struggle in math will never finish nursing school or pass the state boards. Didn't matter about biology etc, but if you have weak math skills the boards are next to impossible to pass.

There is also a huge shortage of nursing instructors which doesn't help.
