Quote:
To provide support for its autistic students, University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) has launched the College Internship Programme, under which the students develop and learn adult life skills, make new friends, manage their time and fulfill their potential.

“The ultimate goal is to give them the same opportunities that everyone else has in securing meaningful employment,” Michael Noel, UC Berkeley’s programme director, told East Bay Times.

That's great! I think all colleges and universities need to have something like this.

Some of us do struggle with that and that is a great stepping stone to start being independent.
