I heard that I'm not the only one with Asperger's who has a world of characters. So is that true? Or is my mom just saying another thing to back her up and provoke me? I notice lots of lies about how people love when they don't. And they disguise their disrespect by treating us Aspies with "kind words" like the word "special" I hate that word cause I notice the tone that people say it in makes me very skeptical about whether they really mean it or whether they're just dressing things up to try to make you think they're the "normal" and you're just a little bit below normal. Not enough to be weird but enough that you're not responsible. They want to control us completely.

It's true; females on the spectrum often have exceptional imaginations! It's diagnostically relevant, in fact.

Alyssa Huber talks about it in her documentary

(Shrugs) I have a world of characters, and put them in a novel. Had to do something with them.

[Edit]- Added "especially" for clarity (I realize males on the spectrum can have imaginations too). 8)

Growing up I was a chameleon taking on characters. Who shall I be today or in a moment.

As a writer and voice actor on a radio show some “came to life”.

As a member of an improvisation troupe I loved morphing myself and objects.
