Do you like Sears?

I'm pretty neutral about it. I don't exactly masturbate to it.

The Sears Catalog was a nice, convenient piece of Americana for rural folk in the early 20th century.

It's a good store, in my opinion. Most of the appliances in our house came from there. I usually prefer Kmart though for things like clothing and shoes.

It is a store with a dinosaur business model that should have been out of business 15 years ago.

I like some of the men's t-shirts and polo shirts that they sold there. I bought them in androgynous colours such as pea green, orange and electric blue.

I only wandered in there once in a while, but about a year and a half ago, our local mall Sears was closing down, and I got a pair of "nice" earrings that were marked down to a cheap price. The stones fell out of them shortly after.

I bought a few vid games there when I was a kid but I think that's about all I ever bought from there. My parents may of got some stuff like cloths for me from there & I know they got some appliances there that I used but I never had much interest in Sears.

I was in a Sears store only once when I was a kid. I wasn't impressed by it. Things were rather poorly laid out.

A lot great Delta Blues artists, like Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters, got their start playing six-string steel guitars purchased from the Sears and Roebuck catalog. You could say the company was largely responsible for creating Delta Blues.
