I try to be normal and make jokes but people think I'm picking at them, but im trying to be funny and I can't do that and it comes out all wrong.
Why do I say things that sound like I'm being mean but I'm just trying to make things fun.
I can't even have a proper conversation.

I had that problem as a kid. When I thought others were being mean to me I was told they were just joking.

From observation I can tell you the most common way to remedy it is if people aren't finding it funny or are insulted is to change the topic quickly.
