alternatives to college?

I applied to a community college because i still don't know what to major in. I know it sort of involves art (film making,design,animation, storytelling, script writing) but i'm still looking at alternatives because i'm mostly very lonely and i feel more drive and confidence when i'm with other people with similar interest and goals. anyone know places where i can meet people like that?

Maybe not an alternative but a complementary is needed for you. Search for a hobby that includes people, a few suggestions: join a group sport, a band/choir, a chess club, Debate club (maybe in your college?), Salsa dancing, computer game parties (IRL, I know that stuff exists), heck anything's possible.
