I can't handle much caffeine at all.

So my standard tea is a bit non-standard.

I use a Pukka brand Vanilla Chai teabag and a Tetley decaff teabag together in the same big mug. I like the flavours of the Chai tea but on their own those bags are far too weak, so the Tetley gives it some depth and a decent colour. But I take that out and leave the Chai one in, to extract maximum flavour from it. Then Alpro soya milk and two sweeteners (I have a sweet tooth but I also have diabetes, lol).

I can't stand coffee.

I seldom drink tea but, when I do, I like very weak, barely hot, green tea (or yellow or white).

I love tea! Just finished a cup. Quite strong with soya milk and no sugar. Don't mind what brand of "normal" tea we buy.

At this very moment, I am trying Tazo brand Matcha Mate Grapefruit.

Well, I don't like it, but I don't dislike it...it's a very mellow flavor.

...actually, I guess it's not so bad. It's subtle.

I'd like to try regular yerba mate, but they don't sell it in the stores I usually go to. This just mostly tastes like green tea and matcha, but not as overwhelming.

Before the pandemic, I had frequented our local tea/coffee house; a place in a building dating back to the late 1800s- hence a place with that neat style/charm which is so rare these days!

Sometimes, I'd order iced-tea during afternoon visits. On my morning visit, I'd have a breakfast of coffee, and scones.

I look forward to being a "regular" at our local tea/coffee house again!

How many have had the experience of 'high tea?' I experienced afternoon "high tea" in Victoria, BC - a very English style town.
