A few weeks ago. A girl found me on Facebook and sent me a friend request since we both had mutual friends. And we started talking and became friends. But last night she asked me if I wanted to start a relationship. And I said yes. But I noticed one problem with her. She doesn't respond to a lot of my messages. I asked her why she does that and she says it's because she can't think of anything to say. And that get's me worried that I'm bad at conversation. And is this bad for a relationship? Well before last night. We were talking as friends. But I wanna know if I need to change anything about how I talk.

Sounds like you will have gaps in conversation.

Some people don't mind that.

Sometimes, people like silence as well as talk.

She was the one who wanted the relationship; I guess she sees something in you.

I think it might help if you shared some of the messages she hasn’t responded to.

Could you be sending her too many at once?

Some people communicate best by writing.

Some people communicate best by talking.

And some people communicate best physically...

How well does she speak English? I’m wondering if that could be some of the issue.

It is a little concerning that she doesn’t want to send you a picture but she wants a relationship.

That's sort of unfair; she wants a picture of you; yet she doesn't want to send a picture of herself?

She will probably tell you soon of her sick mother and ask you for money.

I'd have to sort of agree. It's possible that this is a scam.

It doesn't mean that it is one. There's just the possibility of one.

I'd be a little wary---but I wouldn't tell her that I'm wary.
