I could just stare out the window for ages.
I feel odd though.

The sky is really beautiful and intriguing to me and has been since I was little. I am so aware of it all the time.
Yes the sunsets are lovely to watch. The colored light on the clouds is very captivating. A new scenery every day.
I can see the ocean from the house so I can also see the sun set from my windows.

How can we not admire something so beautiful ! ;)

Oh yes, I love it. I'm lucky to have only a few minutes walk to the top of a hill from where you can see for miles and get the very last of the sun. With the hot weather lately, I've been going out for my daily walk quite late in the evening and have seen some stunning sunsets. With my usual nocturnal sleep pattern, I've been seeing some beautiful sunrises too, as my room faces directly East - the birds' dawn chorus is a lovely lullaby to get me to sleep.

It's very pretty. Not strange at all.

It's literature, my man.

You're a literary guy.

And it's perfectly "normal" to like to look at the setting sun.

I live near a "dark sky" region that has minimal light pollution. Stargazing there is a breathtaking experience.

Yes, it is too bad that most people can't see the Milky Way anymore unless they make a special trip to someplace dark.
