Great idea. Did that back three years ago and realized I needed to drop certain toxic relationship patterns. I for the most part had to move on as my relationships couldn't survive my new outlook on my life. Sometimes you have to go out and start from scratch.

Rick, you could access services at the county level with a sliding pay scale if money is tight in your budget.

Seeing a couple of mental health professionals helped me too. I was able to work through my issues and learn how to remove people and situations from my life that were detrimental to my health. My life has improved a lot because of it. Voc Rehab paid for me to see the psychologist so I could be emotionally ready to get a job. The local women's center provided me with group therapy for sex abuse survivors. The group therapy is free and they have a sliding scale system for people who can't afford individual one on one therapy sessions with a therapist. I liked that my feelings were validated by mental health professionals.
