@JohnBrennan - This action is part of a broader effort by Mr. Trump to suppress freedom of speech & punish critics. It should gravely worry all Americans, including intelligence professionals, about the cost of speaking out. My principles are worth far more than clearances. I will not relent.

John Brennan: President Trump’s Claims of No Collusion Are Hogwash That’s why the president revoked my security clearance: to try to silence anyone who would dare challenge him.

Jennifer Rubin at the WP is now calling for the GOP to censure Trump over this. Oh dear. Like Admiral McRaven, she has the very best of intentions but doesn't realize how widely the rot has spread.

He is both warning Muller this can happen to him and seeing what he can get away with. Anybody without security clearence will not be able to investigate Trump in any meaningful way.
