Trump warns evangelicals of 'violence' if GOP loses in Nov.

(CNN)President Donald Trump, facing scrutiny for hush money payments to a porn star and a former Playboy model, pleaded with evangelical leaders for political help during closed-door remarks on Monday, warning of dire consequences to their congregations should Republicans lose in November's midterm elections.

"This November 6 election is very much a referendum on not only me, it's a referendum on your religion, it's a referendum on free speech and the First Amendment. It's a referendum on so much," Trump told the assemblage of pastors and other Christian leaders gathered in the State Dining Room, according to a recording from people in the room.

"It's not a question of like or dislike, it's a question that they will overturn everything that we've done and they will do it quickly and violently. And violently. There is violence. When you look at Antifa -- these are violent people," Trump said, describing what would happen should his voters fail to cast ballots. "You have tremendous power. You were saying, in this room, you have people who preach to almost 200 million people. Depending on which Sunday we're talking about."

"I just ask you to go out and make sure all of your people vote. Because if they don't -- it's November 6 -- if they don't vote, we're going to have a miserable two years and we're going to have, frankly, a very hard period of time," [Trump] said.

“Let’s be clear also about what’s going on here,” Toobin said in a panel discussion with Wolf Blitzer. “The theme here is, ‘I’m Donald Trump and I’ll protect you from the scary black people.’ Antifa is widely perceived as an African-American organization, and this is just part of the same story of LeBron James and Don Lemon and Maxine Waters and the NFL players and the UCLA basketball players.

“This is about black versus white. This is about Donald Trump’s appeal to racism and it just happens all the time. And we never say it—we don’t say it enough for what it is, but that’s what’s going on here,” he added.

Trump has previously slammed Antifa, referencing his much-criticized comment that there was violence on both sides during the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville.

Plus stats show crazed right wingers are more likely to attack - right wing carry out the most domestic acts of terrorism statistically in the US.

I anticipate that the most 'violent' act committed by 'Antifa' forces will have obvious similarities with the scene in 'Braveheart' where the rebels lifted their kilts to wave their bums and willies at the English forces...

And maybe a few choruses of "Neener, Neener, Neener!"
