Although I am 32 years old I find that a lot of the time I feel a lot younger mentally like I am still 14, 15. I find it can be frustrating as I wish I was a bit more mature. Also get embarrassed by the fact I have to have people help me to do things at times.

I have that too so you're not alone.

I’m like this too. I’m intellectually above average but my overall maturity is younger I think.

Yep.

I'm 33 and I still feel like I have to rely on other people carrying me through life.

I feel like an old man, so I don't have that  . Have been called a father-figure a few times now.

Do look younger than my age. People always say I look 23 - 25 when I am 30. Also, for some reason I connect better with people who are younger 5+ years or 5+years older. Same age often doesn't go that well. Weird.

I have that. And it's painful to watch my own teenage moodiness and antics at times (painful to myself). I'm 35.
It's not exactly being like a 14 yo. It's rather like being 14 yo when it comes to emotions and 100 yo when it comes to logic and wisdom. it's not exactly general retardation. it's rather like being selectively ehem.. ret*d in some areas. Particularly social stuff. <- the definition of AS?

Possibly Aspie (diagnosed by an autism expert, doc moves abroad, forced to change docs and all say it's schizophrenia NOS or schizo-affective disorde or personality disorders. initial doc was a colleague of uncle Simon btw. you do the math.). (edit: by Uncle Simon I mean Simon Baron Cohen. Just to clear things up.)

I get along best with 10 year olds. One day my daughter of 10 will become more mature than I.

I also feel this way. At the last job that I had I didn't feel like one of the employees, I felt like a child who was there as an intern I never once felt differently and I had to constantly remind myself that I am actually one of the adults. I would probably get along better with younger people but I don't speak to people younger than 18-19 because that feels like it'd be considered creepy. I also get along well with people 10 or more years older than me, not sure why... But people exactly my age I probably get along the least with unless they're also aspies. When they talk I just feel I can't relate to anything they're saying, I feel completely lost. It's just a reminder of how different I am.

I too feel much younger than my age. I still feel the way I did 20 + years ago.

I think it's a common thing to feel younger than you really are. I've talked to people who is 80-90 years old and they said that they still feel much younger than they are.

That said, I don't recall seeing anyone my age jumping on stuff in the street and balancing on edges rather than walking "normally" down the street. I don't really get along very well with people my age, I don't share their interests and find the stuff they talk about kind of boring. I'm probably a mix between a 10 year old and an 80 year old.

Same here. Seem to be stuck somewhere around 12-16 with the wisdom of 60. I have often been referred to as a big kid.

Yes, I feel about 20 years younger than I actually am. My looks also follow this trend.
