Happy 40th anniversary of the first film (LOL). I saw it in the movie theater in my college town. People were actually very scared because all the now well-worn techniques were new.

Jamie Lee Curtis is in this one which is cool.

I'm just glad Universal Pictures and Blumhouse got a better director than Rob Zombie for this new entry in the Halloween franchise.

Rob Zombie Halloween Remake: A useless back story taking up most of the movie in an attempt to make it SCARY & EDGY!! !! !! More like a glorified Rob Zombie music video if you ask me.

Blumhouse Halloween Remake: Possibly a jump scare fest just like the modern garbage horror these days. No surprise Blumhouse was desperate to use that.

To be clear, this new Halloween film is not a remake, but a sequel to the original film from 1978.
