In Theaters April 5th, 2019!

(I know this trailer has been online for several weeks, so if you didn't like the teaser for Captain Marvel, I posted this if you needed an alternative of sorts.)

It's a comedy? It looks cheesy especially considering that, these days, Hollywood makes all their superhero costumes dark. This one just begs not to be taken seriously, kind of like the poorly received Underdog from a few years ago.

I have never read the Shazam comics (I stopped reading comics when I began high school), but after watching the trailer my opinion is that Shazam could be a surprise comic book movie hit for DC when it's released next year like Guardians Of The Galaxy and Ant-Man both did for Marvel Studios.

Looks funny. I'll probably take the family to see it.

It opens a few days before my mom's birthday, so my sister and I might take our mom to see it.
