Hey - don't be that offensive towards aspies and Germans!
At least nobody looks like me here beside of me ...
But even the other aspies that I know are quite different in their own special way.

So....

are you saying that Germans should be offended by being compared to aspies?

Or are you saying that aspies should be offended by being compared to Germans?

Which label is the epithet, and which group is the victim of the epithet?

Both are victims except me!
(But I know German aspies are sometimes really good looking people and you meant it that way ... :sunny: )

If you search youtube for it there are some videos. This girl (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqASnghM2Gg) for instance is quite girly even with her lack of emotional skills. She is quite intelligent too. I was really suprised that a girl of her age even knows the people that she talks about and of her way of thinking about them.

I am thankful for this searching. More detail will follow in a private message.

Well...there's Trixie, who does the "Never Trust the Rabbit" show on U Tube.

She's girly, cute, and German. Though she mostly does her show in English. She doesn't talk about aspergers, nor does she claim to be an aspie, but some folks on WP say that she "seems aspie". But I think that Germans in general come as as looking aspie. Lol!

There is already a thread about her.
She is not "girly" and there is already a thread about her.

I agree. That was a pretty broad comment.

Sorry, I answered in German before just because it sounds more natural then. But the translations of Google or DeepL are quite wrong because it's verbally to complicated for the current AI based translations and therefore the translated version of my answer here:

Well, that's rather different, but people like us probably are, because we usually try to direct a conversation to things that interest us. Typical Smalltalk is rather rare then. The easiest way for me is of course just to let the women babble, if they feel like it. But that's probably how it is for many of the guys.

No idea, but in any case they are a lot more talkative and typically have much less patience. The most important thing of their car is the horn.

By "look" I mean "behave". Germans can come off as stiff, and stern, and unemotional. Like aspies.

Don't make it worse and the aspies bad! You are right. Germans without enough beer are more formal and more reserved than the people of other nations. (Except may be the high society of the other nations.)
