The US puts corporate interests over global public health

An article from Health Affairs talks about how the US is trying to get other countries to compromise the health of their citizens, for the benefit of American corporations:

IMO, the US should not be lecturing other countries what they should do regarding their citizens' health, when here we have people crowdfunding insulin (and some of them dying in the process) and people afraid to call the ambulance because they don't have health coverage. I find these actions to be absolutely disgusting and reprehensible.

People I know have health coverage and are afraid to call an ambulance.
