What type of guys get slurs like pedophile etc......

Usually, Pedophiles.....

I think it might come up if somebody gets drunk and stupid, and is not able to think logically.

Usually for pedophile it's guys who hang around children a lot and act creepy or unusually fond of kids.

Of course, people seem to use the word very broadly for any guy who looks or acts creepy. And women can be pedophiles too, but other people seem to be in total denial of this unless the woman is old or ugly. Talk about stupid.

I've heard about this stupid "gay agenda" thing where apparently some people think that all homosexuals are actually pedophiles.

And I think it's very sad that a man can't show any emotional attachment or concern for a child without people suspecting him of being a pedophile and how people tend to think that female pedophiles do not exist.

It feels like a witchhunt sometimes.

Yes, and I can promise you I am not a pedophile. I have no desire to have sex with children. But a couple of people have accused me before with absolutely no proof other than the fact that I "seem weird". Do you really think it is fair to do that to people just for that reason?

Growing up, if I showed any kind of interest in a girl, mom and dad automatically labeled me and the girl as pedophiles. They pulled the same act on my brothers, but to a lesser extent, with the exception of my youngest brother (by that point, dad was already deceased, so he never got the full brunt of what I got.)

Similar to Meistersinger, if I said a girl was ‘cute’, people accused me of being a sex fiend. If I got beat up, then people said I was a ‘fag’. If I defended myself and gave more than I got, then I was a sociopathic bully who was going straight to Juvie Hall. If I avoided people entirely, they accused me of being either a snob or a sneak.

All before the age of 10.

I stopped caring what other people think of me.

Pedophile is not a slur, it is specific term for adults who try to do sexual things with children.

Sometimes as*holes might call someone who isn't one that to be mean, but that is why you should probably stop going to that bar. Sounds like you have not hit it off with anyone there and most regulars don't like you...whether its due to behavior of yours or they are all just as*holes. You should probably find another place to spend your time it would be better for you.

I mean why stick around somewhere, people just keep picking on you...your not a kid in school, you have a choice not to associate with any of those people. Yet you keep doing it day after day even though those bar people just make you feel like crap. Why spend your money at the bar to subject yourself to that?

I've been called that before when I talked about liking girls who were underage. It was NEVER a sexual thing. I feel immature for my own age & related better to people younger than me. It's also common where I come from for guys my age & older to be with younger women. I was also called pedophile cuz my 2nd girlfriend was 19 & I was 28. I met her & this forum & we had things in common like autism.
