I assume that you made a typo, and meant "brush up".

But your post does suggest an interesting pun about loyalty within the GOP.

I am sure that a number of GOP voters have gotten so embarrassed by Trump that Jeb, and his clan, are starting to look good to them again. Wouldn't blame you for wanting to..."Bush Up!" :lol:

2. The IRS already audited Trump in 2000.

3. "The Internal Revenue Service probably would be reluctant to open an audit into questionable tax activities that allegedly happened more than two decades ago, according to tax experts".

4. Federal law limits to six years the amount of time that prosecutors can file criminal charges in tax fraud cases.

I wonder how many times the word "impeached" has been written here and in ppr so far. People were saying he was going to get impeached before he even got sworn in. I wonder if anger and bargaining will ever give way to acceptance that he's going to serve a full term. Maybe it will happen in the last 6 months. And then it will all be over with.

Maybe I am not reading the detail correctly but I see it as a bit of a non story

I assumed most mega wealthy types who made their money decades ago would be involved in at least 'tax efficiency' if not some form of evasion.

Doesnt make it right at all, but if the offspring benefit decades later you can't really blame them can you?

Trump has to be convicted after he is impeached. An impeachment is only an indictment.

If he’s convicted, Pence becomes President.

In that case they better not convict him. It's better to have a buffoon as your enemy. Trump becoming president is the best thing that ever happened to the Democrats.
