The Nature Conservancy of Canada held an event in town today. They purchased a 231 acre wetland on Presqu'ile Bay recently, and held this to tell everyone what their plans are. for it.
So I figured I'd go. I didn't do too badly. Mostly off on my own. Leafing through the papers I picked up, shaking somewhat. Typical whenever I am around a crowd. It was a small crowd, so that was OK. They catered the event, so I ate by myself. Later, some went over to the property to take a look. As long as there is something I can talk about with strangers, I am usually OK. There were a few people that went over to it. I was disappointed as I thought we could traipse all over the property. But there are no trails on it, so far anyway.
But crowds irk me. I have never been to a musical concert or otherwise. My brother bought me a ticket to see Colin James at this town's Applefest last weekend. I ended up bailing at the last minute. Besides, it was wet & storming & of course outdoors.
