Are there any people that will give adequate shelter to a pregnant woman who isn't PHYSICALLY abused or hooked on drugs or alcohol or not 18 years old or less but she still needs a place temporarily?
It seems any place that is an adequate shelter it's for those reasons.
What about for someone who is just homeless or can't stay where she is for other reasons?

I'm not sure if I am understanding your post correctly. Are you saying you are under 18 years of age? Being a minor does throw a monkey wrench in the system. I am not sure of age requirements for shelters.

She is saying that she is over 18, I believe.

I feel bad that she's in the situation that she's in.

Are you located in Nashville? Are you trying to escape an abusive situation?

I'm so sorry that our society is so indifferent to the suffering of people.

If you are over 18, there are homeless shelters not restricted to the criteria you describe. Some will even help you get back on your feet. Internet searches can help locate shelters. Even better is to try to connect with someone in the system who can refer you. You might want to try an emergency room as a walk in. Salvation Army is good. In my area many services are provided by the Guadalupe church and Friendship House. You could try walking into any church and asking for help. Roman Catholic Churches often have social services and would at least know where the send you. Also food pantries may have some idea of where to go.

It's gotten a bit better where I am at, but I am still thinking about going to YWCA for a short time. I'm getting a voucher a few days from now. After that my case manager can help me find a place. It's mostly my mental health that I'm concerned for. And, the fact that I don't have a car yet. YMCA is in the city, where there are transportation options. Where I'm at now has none, other than relying on others which where I'm at, I don't want to but have to. I'm good on baby supplies though. Also one person here is supportive but can't or won't help with some of the issues I am dealing with staying where I am.

From what I remember, I like cats. I was doing something Star Wars related at the time. So, it may be from the name of a race species in Star Wars. As for 4G, that's more personal.
