I like to be super organised (to combat my lack of) I start panicking quite early that I will run out of time.

I've just finished buying everything, my cards are written. Just wrapping to do.

Does re-gifting from last Christmas count as "shopping"?

I usually try to do shopping online during Black Friday. It is beneficial for me because I avoid large crowds and it is only a matter of when I need to wrap said gifts.

I never really did Christmas shopping so I don't worry about it.

I have started already, but I try to do all of it before around the 14th December, because I've noticed that the shops are getting busy after the second week in December. For the last few years I've been taking a few days off work to go to the city to do my Christmas shopping around the end of November/beginning of December, during the week, because you gets lots of choice of gifts but the shops aren't really hectic yet and there are no queues at the tills. Now that I live in the city the shops are right on my doorstep and so I have even more time to complete my Christmas shopping before the shops get busy.

One year my boyfriend literally left all of his Christmas shopping til Christmas Eve. Bad idea.

I make a list in the days after Thanksgiving, exchange lists with my family the first week of December, then do my Christmas shopping after.

I am always on a tight budget, so I must spend wisely.
