I'd especially like to hear opinions from fans who played the original game. What do you guys think of the upcoming remake?

I'm not too happy with the fact that they are reusing the same camera angel introduced in Resident Evil 4 and I don't like how they changed the clothes of Claire, Ada, and Sherry because they don't look anything like how they looked in the original game.

But maybe I should still give it a chance? At least it has zombies in it and it's a return to Raccoon City which was always my favorite setting in the Resident Evil games. If it turns out to be good I hope Capcom will also remake Resident Evil 3.

If this does well, I really want to see Nemesis return.

Me too. I would love to see a remake of Resident Evil 3 because it's my favorite in the franchise.

I thought 3 took place after 2 when Leon and Claire left the police station, hence the locked up doors and all.

It took place both before and after RE2.

Hopefully it will come to PC and not be a console only game.

Fans have asked and Capcom is delivering. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake is in production. In 2020, Resi fans can enjoy being chased relentlessly by the nearly unstoppable Nemesis in modern graphics. You thought Mr. X was terrifying? You haven't seen anything yet.

Next Remake Code Veronica.

The game was decent, but I'd dispute it being a "masterpiece". They cut out so many enemies, locations, and items. Leon looks too much like he belongs in a teenage girl's movie. They repeated boss fights, unlike in the original. Ada looked dumb with that FBI coat on. And worst of all, they removed the plants, spiders, and crows. Hell, even Brad Vickers does NOT show up as a zombie at the police precinct.
