Perhaps their shared lack of moral conscience in exploiting others partially explains the shocking Trump appointment of Whitaker. This revelation about Whitaker sounds very familiar:

Takes a crook to know a crook, and they are both crooks. Trump with his dirty business tactics and the Trump University scam, and Whitaker with the hot tub business he was involved in which defrauded customers.
