I can’t upload an avatar

I tried to change my avatar but it kept saying it was too big (145 x 145 px), even though it was less than 130 x 130. I also can’t get the avatar I used till today back, and when I re-uploaded it it said it was too big, although I can’t recall having any problems when I first uploaded it.

width is 130px max, height can be up to 160 px. be aware of file size limits too.

I tried both. Neither worked.
