How does the moderator selection process work?

It seems to just happen on here randomly. I have heard Alex say you need to be recommended. I don't know by who though, members, other staff team?


On lot of places, I have seen online applications for applying for mod status when they are looking for another moderator or need more of them due to more activity.

It also depends on the number and quality of pancakes offered to the staff.

Not to mention chocolate muffins and strawberry cupcakes.

Cough, not terribly important but only four were made mods in April 2015: Enviro, Nyxjord, Walrus and me.

yeah, that happens unfortunately.

i doubt it got filled without you, we haven't had a mod appointment since spring 2015...
it's time now, i'm pretty sure.



Was thinking that maybe I ...misbehaved once or twice. And that caused them to change their mind about me.
